Wasn't really expecting too much in all honesty.Loved the characters, really enjoyed the multiple endings and the possibility of slaughter if you decided to upset the wrong people!Would have liked it even more if you could have kept the lizard as a permenant party fixture! Few bugs and bit of crashing but only encountered one major issue and it was resolved almost immediately!Very good game for the price.. Interesting RPGMaker game. Has an interesting story, has a lot of humor, and the gameplay is... well, standard for RPGMaker games...Well worth the price.. A decent rpgmaker game that is worth playing to the end , has tons of branching options , simple rpg concept and average grinding. Pros:+ great unique humour + characters actually make you care for them+ nice soundtrack+ old-fashioned FF turn-based combat+ somewhat enticing plotCons:- game tends to crash whenever you start another battle - length is a bit short. A funny little game that parodies other RPG's. There are pretty funny achievments too and 5 playable charackters to choose for your party, if you had unlocked them. There is not a big story, just a few little ones in a row and some nice side-stories. For the cheap price i really recommend this game!. as of this writing(2.1hrs game played)..i am actually liking this game.. even if it's an RPG Maker game..which most games by the same engine has the most cliche story..the characters are great.. the HUMOR is great.. the art is great.. and the combat is actually great.. this game might have a Mixed Review.. but i think it's pretty biased..PROS:+Great Sense of Humor jokes+Fourth Wall Breaks are hilarious.. especially the studio itself are in the game... and their previous characters are in the company!+great character design+good story "SO FAR"(i haven't finished the game yet.. but the story right now is very "cliffhanging")+simple and easy to learn combat+wise strategy thinkingCONS:-bugs may occur(i got a bug where i lost my save.. i don't know how but im glad i'm double saving)-some crashes(i experienced crashes BEFORE battles.. and i know the devs warned us about the issue so yea..)-no voiceovers(i DON'T know if it's ok to put voiceovers in a RPG Maker Game but if capable..i wished there's some voiceovers since sometimes i get dizzy when reading them dialogs..)that sums pretty much it!i REALLY recommend this game and hopefully there are more to come(i haven't even finished this game yet!). It´s a cute little game, it has a great story but if you dont speak English too well, you may find it hard to know what you have to do at certain points. Nevertheless, you might find it hard to stop playing because you care about the characters and you want to know how the story proceeds.One thing Ive noticed that there are a lot of relationships in this game, like she;s the daughter of him, he has two wifes at the same time, she wanted to merry him, but then she didnt, you have to help him to get a her, and so on...But I have one question in particular. (Spoileralert)That town is literally full of heroes, it even has an army which would be capable of defeating a whole nation, and I still have to face the boss alone? like wtf.... Fain game :D !. It was fun to play it. Love old school RPG.Story is good enought to read all text and lore.7/10TIP: You'll bump into bugs, be prepared.. A good game with several frustrating moments.I thing that characters are the strongest part of the game; gameplay-wise there are no random battles (all monsters are visible) which is a _huge_ plus in my books. World is small and backtracking is quite frequent but at the end it starts to feel like a home territory which I also consider a plus. With no random battles it is quite possible to sneak thorugh the territories and some of the monsters are not aggressive which is a good addition to a usual formula. Battles are quite predictable but difficulty curve is reasonable, although on lower difficulty I've finished boss battle on level 29 on main character and about 25 on everybody else, and didn't see higher level abilities. Some difficult monsters don't regenerate which is, again, a good anti-frustrating feature. Frustrating features are mostly related to speech redundancy: for example, if you didn't win boss fight you'd have to sit through long, slow moving final cutscene again; the vendor on beach has to have... that... pause... every time he offers you a rest, which is very frustrating if you go for dream challenges and have to rest often; Vivian stuck on her long dialog etc. Some sidelines (such as Smith and Priscilla; Helga's father) didn't trigger in my playthrough. Some items in shops are redundant as good gear can be found in wilderness or easily earned. I couldn't find how to dismiss one of companions (Quinta) either. Although the dash is present (L.Shift) there is no auto-dash function. The main drawback for me is a multiple references to other creations from author and fourth wall breaking. They are not badly written and sometimes funny but I feel that due to sheer amount of them the world didn't have a chance to truly reveal itself. The ending also felt rushed: I finished with impression that much was left unresolved (to visit the other drow village, to brocker peace, to see Lazarus' and Vivian's marriage (or a loud lack of such)), to go to Great Beyond. It was a good story but it did feel prematurely cut just as it started to really flow. I wish it was longer or there was a second part.
