Never has a game deserved the seizure warning at the beginning more (and it's missing!). Between all the light effects, flying around glowing stuff and sparkly explosions I find it impossible to play longer than half an hour in a row without serious headache.A bit less would have been more here :). This is a game that brings me back to my childhood when I used to own some of the old Atari games I had received for the PS1. Of course, Atari existed wayyy before I was even thought of, but Luxor Evolved is a great game that brings back the nostalgic feel to those who had the experience of playing such old school classics. Also, there's epic music involved too as well, which makes the gameplay experience all the more better. I bought Luxor Evolved for my mother, showed it to her one night, and left her with the game as I fell asleep. Hours later, in the early morning, I awoke to hear her screaming, "I BEAT THE GAME!" I was so glad that she enjoyed it, and even when I talked about it to her later on (during a reasonable hour), she told me that she'll play it again.I have played some of the prior Luxor games, and I would have to say that this one is the most challenging, yet it's the best for new people to start. If you have a love for arcade games, this is the title for you.. Groovy. If your heart doesn't give out from all the flashing colors and lights your brain just might explode instead.. Great game enjoying it! well worth it!. This game is♥♥♥♥♥♥ People love this game and candy crush and they are just repetitive matching games that have pretty much no innovation. The only way you'll do well in this game is if you play luxor all the time. You have to stop 2 different trains of colors that are completely rainbows and move super fast and have super short tracks. Not even the mechanics make sense or follow a set rule. If you form a combination of three sometimes the chain will shrink backwards to the closest ones, but other times the ones on the side towards the end will keep getting pushed forward, meaning each time you try forming a group of 3 on them they keep moving further and further forward which makes no sense since you have to form 3 to stop it. You basically have to get lucky and get a special power or you already lose, which makes no sense. You never get the colors you need and the things move 30 miles an hour. Then if you form a group of 3 and break the chain but it still pushes the other side forward into the end thing you lose. You only get 3 lives then you lose everything, and it's not explained how you get more lives, are there tons of power ups and different symbols that fall but you have no idea what most of them are and if you actually need them or they do anything. Not to mention they fall super fast and sometimes 3 at a time meaning you miss 2/3 the stuff because you're busy trying to stop the chain thats moving way too fast on the super short track. Unless you're one of the casual luxor/beweled/(insert any other repetitive♥♥♥♥♥♥casual game derps eat up) then don't waste your time on this steaming pile. 4.5/10.. Most difficult luxor ever, bosses, fast balls, etc. (But that is why that game is cool)I Recommend it, one of Must Have games.. It's PuzzLoop/Zuma with a "Neon" workover and a shoot-em-up style firing system - and it's really quite good.It has 4 difficulties which are 'No skill required', 'Gets Boring Fast', 'Tough' and 'Locked until you beat Tough' - the first 2 being zero-challenge and the third being reliant as much on luck as skill (put simply, you'll get a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ deal of colors sometimes and die)That's a problem with most of these games tho - seems unfair to blame this one for that!!. Please ignore my playtime as it was left on overnight.---While I think the asking price is a bit high, Luxor Evolved is a good bit of arcade fun. Even though the game can be beaten, this is primarily a score chaser. This is also best played with just a mouse.Essentially, you slide a turret across the bottom of the screen and try to shoot various shapes to match similiar shapes. Matching 3 or more gets rid of them and sometimes gives grabbable points. I'm only trying to describe this because there is no trailer on the store page. The music is good. The whole thing can feel a bit dated at times, but the core mechanics are fun.Pros:+Yeah, this is a fun enough score chaser+Playing with just the mouse is a breath of fresh airCons:-Probably a bit pricey for what it is-Static levels can get oldGet it on sale.
