Radio silence from support. Can you get a refund on bandwidth?. Whelp, I can't recommend this game.I downloaded it and decided to give it a shot (again...I've played it back on their launcher). Got in and was ready to select a server to give it a go. Sadly, every server I chose gave me a message that access was restricted to subscribers. The only server that didn't give me this message was a full server that simply told me the server was full.Perhaps I'm missing something but I thought this was a free game with an optional subscription. Oh well, can't give it a shot again so I'll go play something else.. It's old, it's weird, it's not perfect in any way, but it is charming and [I think] very fun. The fact that it requires a sub at a certain point is no big deal IMO as it is MUCH cheaper than other sub games. I agree with others that the f2p is a bit misleading, but it's not really a big deal. I say give it a shot. Honestly you'll know if you want to play more of it long before you hit the sub wall, and again it's really cheap. Cheers :). According to French law, companies must be presented with proof that you are the customer you claim to be before any major changes can be made to your file.Ankama is a games company based in France, so naturally they are subjected to this law.This also means that you have to be prepared to give them your name, address, age, and phone number (and potentially even your passport in the event you wish to either delete or reclaim your account from hackers) in order to properly receive their services, even if the account was made not even an hour ago.And here I was thinking that it was going to be easy to enjoy a game I played years ago.. I've been playing dofus for well over a decade. I've got 7 maxed out characters on different accounts, thousands and thousands of hours. I'm happy to see it on steam, my only real qualm is that I can't log more than one account at once through steam! Part of the reason I love dofus so much is that I can multi log 8 accounts at once.. Regardless, try this game out. It's addictive. Membership is cheap so for all the people complaining about it.. go get a job you f*cking loosers.
